The Amazon Best Sellers plugin returns an Amazon ranked list for a category as structured JSON. Pass a department slug (electronics), a slug plus browse-node id (electronics/172541) or a pasted Amazon list URL, and you get up to 100 ranked items - each with its rank, ASIN, title, product URL, image, price and currency, rating and review count - plus the category itself with its parents and subcategories, so you can walk the whole category tree. Pick one of five lists with list_type (Best Sellers, New Releases, Movers & Shakers, Most Wished For, Gift Ideas) and any of 20 regional marketplaces. proxy_country defaults to the marketplace’s home country, so prices come back in the store’s own currency. Leave category empty to get the all-departments root: the department list in category.subcategories and no items.

Ranked list

POST /marketplace/amazon-bestsellers

Field	Required	Notes
`category`	no	A department slug (`electronics`, `books`, `toys-and-games`), a slug plus browse-node id (`electronics/172541` = Headphones), or any Amazon Best Sellers / New Releases / Movers & Shakers / Most Wished For / Gift Ideas URL (its marketplace and list type are then used). Empty = the all-departments root: the department list and no items.
`list_type`	no	`bestsellers` (default), `new_releases`, `movers_and_shakers`, `most_wished_for` or `gift_ideas`. Ignored when `category` is a list URL.
`marketplace`	no	Regional Amazon site, default `amazon.com`. See Supported marketplaces. Ignored when `category` is a URL.
`max_results`	no	How many ranked items to return, `1`-`100`, default `30`. A list holds up to 100 items over two pages of 50, and each page fetched is billed as one request (`pagesFetched`). Asking for more than the first 30 items of a page makes the call slower.
`proxy_country`	no	Proxy country (ISO-2). Defaults to the marketplace’s home country (`amazon.com` -> `US`), so prices are in the store’s currency.

Field	Notes
`rank`	Position in the list, 1-100.
`asin`	Amazon product id. Pass it to the Amazon plugin for the full product page or to Amazon Reviews for its reviews.
`title` / `url` / `image`	Product title, a clean `/dp/<asin>` URL and the card image.
`price` / `currency` / `priceRaw`	Numeric price, its ISO currency and the price text as Amazon shows it. `null` when the card shows no price.
`offersCount`	When the card shows “N offers from” a price, the number of offers (`price` is then the lowest offer). Otherwise `null`.
`rating` / `reviewsCount`	Star rating (out of 5) and number of ratings.
`salesRank` / `previousSalesRank` / `salesRankChangePct`	Movers & Shakers only: the current and previous sales rank and the percentage change. `null` on other lists.

Response-level fields:

Field	Notes
`category`	The list’s category: `name`, `slug`, `nodeId`, `url`, `parents` and `subcategories`. Every subcategory’s `url` can be passed back as `category` to drill down.
`message`	When Amazon has no list for that category, its own message text, with an empty `items` array. Otherwise `null`.
`itemsWithDetails`	How many items came back complete. An item whose card Amazon did not load comes back with only `rank`, `asin` and `url`.
`pagesFetched`	List pages fetched, each billed as one request.
`exitCountry` / `exitProvider`	Country and type of the proxy that served the call.
